Marktplaats wanted to own a bigger idea: the place for your interior. Home decor delivered to your doorstep — the finds that turn a new house, a first apartment, or just a room that needs a refresh into somewhere that feels like yours. Second-hand, so it's kind to your wallet and to the planet. The Home Decor brief came through their creator programme, together with GoSpooky.

I built it around a moment everyone recognises: moving in together. Samenwonen. A bare first apartment, furnished from start to finish with things found on Marktplaats — a woven rug, a ceramic vase, a little teddy bench, all styled into a real room. The app shows up the way you actually use it: a scroll, a seller, a delivery at the door. Never the hero, always in hand.

One vertical film, twenty-six seconds, cut for the pace of the feed. It opens on the hook — paint swatches going up on a bare wall — then follows the logic of the thing: carry it in, place it, step back. The room settles. By the end it looks like somewhere you'd want to live — nothing in it bought new, nothing that cost the earth.
